we went from in-over-our-heads....

to light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel...
to a huge-sigh-of-relief.
i know, i know... we never should have let the weeds get out of control in the first place. we could have spent the day putting in a sprinkler system instead of plowing weeds and getting our yard to the point it was when we first moved in. moral of the story... don't let weeds overtake your life. it'd make a great church talk if anyone wants to borrow it. ;)
hopefully we've learned our lesson and can keep the weeds down until we put in sprinklers and grass.
thanks family for sacrificing a fun day of hiking for a hard day of work. b-don and i never could have done it by a our little 'ole selves.

I totally feel your pain. I never knew how hard taking care of a yard was until we built our house. We have a giant weed field behind our house so we still struggle keeping the weeds down in our grass. This year vowles ( little field mice) over took our yard and ate most of our precious expensive grass, it is now filling in with crab grass...argh! gotta love yards!
looking good. You better hurry wiyh the grass. :)
Everyone says their children grow like weeds, and while the kids do grow fast, I can testify to you that weeds have the upper hand. Have fun reweeding NEXT week when it looks like that again haha! Just kidding, you have at least two weeks. :) It looks great though and at least now you have a place to bury your hairy scorpion, should you find that necessary.
I love the pic of brandon working his guts out and all the rest of us are just standing there watching him! Ha!
Yea that pic is pretty funny
Sorry I missed out on all the fun... looks good though! I had major anxiety over your yard!! ha
