just call me fred.

i feel like i've been cursed. cursed with a love of ShOEs. tall shoes, with a skinny toe. the love of shoes is not so much a curse as is the shape of my feet. they don't fit into 90% of the shoes i love so much. whoever designed these beautiful shoes did not design them for my feet. if you have seen my feet, you understand... if not, well, imagine fred flintstone... visualize his club feet. then attach those to my ankles and you've got my feet.

the other day i went shoe shopping. i started upbeat and excited, ready to find a fabulous new pair of pumps. i tried on pair after pair. each pair deflated my excitement until i was left completely frustrated and defeated.

i decided i should shop online. surely someone has a line of wide-width shoes for club-footed-girls like me. what i found depressed me even more.

i am cursed to hav
e bunions or g-ma shoes.

Hey have you tried paylessshoes.com you can click on women's shoes, then pumps, then width and the size of heels that you want. They do free shipping to the store and then you pick it up and if they don't fit you can return them right there. I have been doing this for my kids and myself as alot of time by the time I get to the store they don't have the size I need. They had some cute pumps when I was looking yesterday! Good luck!

Look on the bright side, Fred... at least you're married to a hot red head... no, not Wilma (although... she's got it goin on) I'm talkin about B-don! Even the Fred's in life get something good to compensate for their boxy feet! Wear him as your eye candy and no one will ever notice what shoes your wearing. :)

Sorry but this made me laugh soooo hard! I have been saying for years that I have Fred Feet! Short, square, stubby, chunky toes. I'm somewhat fashionably challenged so I don't usually spend too much time looking for shoes since I don't know what looks good anyway. I'm sorry you have to have cursed feet. I hope my children get Corbin's feet.

Katie, shoe shopping always goes that way for me too!!! I always give up looking for something good, in exchange for something that fits.

It made me laugh too. Even though I am the one that gave you the curse. Yes, I have the same one. Oh well. Soon you will be a g-ma and you won't care any more. Well, maybe not soon. Better start with ma.
