We spent our first day at Point Reyes National Seashore. It was a gorgeous place but was insanely windy and cold. We biked to the shore and walked along the beach. Did I mention the wind was blowing? Holy Monkey! We were pelted with sand... ouch. so was our camera. Camera + sand = bad new bears! It's going to need a visit to the doctor. Luckily we brought a backup.
The rest of the week was fun. We went to several museums, and saw Wicked. We biked the golden gate bridge and some trails on Angel Island, visited Muir Woods, and ate some amazing food. Oh, and of course countless hours driving up and down the steep hills looking for a place to park.

Cheap bike lock + big city = bye bye bike
Brandon's (my parent's) bike was stolen. Dang cheap bike lock!!! The bike was a PIECE with squeaky breaks and rusty gears. For some weird reason my bike was left behind. I LOVE my bike so I was beyond grateful it wasn't stolen.
Oh well... it was our last night and b-don really needed a new bike. if anyone visits San Francisco in the near future, look for a homeless man on a squeaky bike... can't miss it.

We saw your blog from the Nauvoo site and had to comment. San Fransisco is our recent neck of the woods, we live just south in Monterey. Congratulations on your first Anniversary! Sorry about your bike, we're taking our kids to the exploritorium this weekend and we'll keep our eyes peeled for squeeky bums. I am glad to see that things have turned out so well for you. The two of you look very happy.
Your husband looks so familiar, does he work at Costco? I swear he helped me last year.

Happy Anniversary. It HAS been one year! Awesome.
Super fun in San Fran. I have been on the bay cruise as well...only, I was three. Don't really remember too much about it..except that it was windy.
Sorry about brandon's bike. Poopy! But...very glad yours is still with you. Whew...relief. :)
i'm so jealous! we LOVE san fran, that's where we went on our honey moon and have wanted to go back ever since! looks like you guys had fun!
Looks like you guys had lots of fun! We found out the hard way too that sand + camera = no camera... ours is still in the repair shop somewhere in Virgina... I think.
FYI - for those keepin an eye out for the bike, good chance he/she is probably hispanic - they really like the old squeeky bikes for some reason, they probably didn't know what to do with a NEW bike! :)
I love to see what you and your hubby do. It seems like you do alot of fun things together, and go to fun places!
Still lookin' foxy!
