it's spring!

today i drove with my windows down and it felt so GOOD. i missed my sunroof.

Hawaii Luau

I love any excuse for a theme party. So for my mom's birthday we had a Hawaiian Luau. (It was inspired by the party my friend Jenni threw for her roommate.) The party was complete with melt-in-your-mouth Hawaiian kabobs, pineapple rice, strawberry daiquiris and pina coladas, Hawaii decor (again thanks to jenni), grass skirts and leis, and german chocolate cake. yum.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's birthday so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! I couldn't ask for a better mother. Thanks for all you do, especially your scrumptious Sunday dinners.
