Christmas Carol
This week I went on a field trip with my 4th graders to the Hale Center Theater. We watched the youth production of A Christmas Carol. I was reminded how much I love this story. It inspired me to go home and watch my favorite version... The Muppet Christmas Carol. I love everything about this movie!!! I laughed, cried and of course sang. Brandon even joined me in singing. I'm sure it was a sight to behold... the two of us laying on the couch singing our hearts out to "The Love is Gone" and "Marley & Marley". It was a good night.

umm..I expect to be invited to your next sing-a-long! Can you believe I've only seen that version once?! But don't worry, it's on my list of things to do this Christmas!
I love the Muppets! You aren't old like me, so you probably don't remember The Muppet Show on tv. I used to watch that all the time. I wish they would redo them with all the new technology we have now. Next time post a video of your sing-along!
I love this show too. We have it. I always try to talk my kids into watching it but, unfortunately, it is not one of THEIR favorites. Seriously, what is wrong with them.
The couch thing.....that is what being a weird married couple is all about.
ENJOY IT!
YAY!!! Best Christmas movie EVER!!!... second only to National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. :)
Sounds like it was a fun night, just remember in your next sing along, your walls aren't sound proof. :)
So fun! I love that Brandon sings along with you. Jim would probably just laugh while i did the singing. I am working on him though... :)
I Agree! Soooo Good! We watched Jacob's copy and his doesn't have "The love is gone" on it. What a disappointment!! I don't know why they did that!!!!
One of my all time fave. Christmas movies too!!! I am trying get Mason into it too and I think it's working. The other day he was playing in his room when all of a sudden he burst out singing "the love is gone" I about died laughing. Since then he has gone back to wanting to just watch his dino movies but I know the seeds have been planted. :)
